Problems with flash plugin & Chrome

For some time I've had problems with the flash plugin and Chrome. I've got both up to date, but every so often it just won't work right with certain things. Right now it won't work with G+ Hangouts, my video always freezes a couple minutes into it. I've found if I go and disable one flash plugin while leaving the other up it will sometimes fix it. I've tried uninstalling the flash plugin and re-installing, fixes it temporarily but happens again.

I've got 2 types of flash plugin installed to Chrome, not sure why but it's always been that way. One is pepflashplayer.dll and the other is NPSWF32_11_9_900_117.dll

PepperFlash is the only flash plugin that works with Chrome anyways since its the one built into Chrome itself and is updated by Google. You can check which plugins are enabled in Chrome by typing in the url box - chrome://plugins. Also, if I'm not mistaken, G+ hangouts uses VP8 and WebRTC, not Flash.
