Problems with DX9 on non supported cards?

People on here have said they had no problems after installing DX9 on their non-DX9 cards. There people at this place say it can cause problems. Is it BS? BTW, my card = Ti 4200

I vote for BS. I've been running DX9b for a while now with my GF3 Ti200 and it hasn't given me any problems.

I`ve DX9.0b on both my PCs,infact my backup PC has a GF2 Ti & I`ve had no problems with any games so far.I would just install it.

I had no problem with I think DX9 on a Ti4400

Total rubbish. I had M$ DX9 installed on a system with a GF2 MX400 and had no problems.

I was running DX9b on my box with a Ti-4200. No problems at all.
