I just got a used Dell P1110 21" Trinitron. It seems to be in good shape. I have only found one problem with it, but I am not sure if it is even a problem.
When opening applications, or sometimes small changes inside the main window of the application causes the width of the screen to increase and decrease a little. Basically, it looks like the screen is refreshing and checking to be sure that the width fits inside the visual dimensions of the monitor. For example, if I open up Internet Explorer, the left and right sides of my screen extend out a little and then back in. Also, if I open up favorites inside of IE, the screen does the same thing, even though the favorites window is well inside the limits of the IE window.
Since this is a used monitor, I did not get a manual with the monitor. Anyone know where I can download a manual for this monitor? I am currently trying to navigate Dell's website with no luck in finding what I am looking for. If anyone knows of a monitor setting that will stop this resizing please let me know.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thank you for your time,
