It was that and more for me. Even scrolling with the mouse wheel was laggy.

Interesting. I had the same issue - connection kept going in and out for short periods of time last night. No problems today so far (I am in South Easter Michigan)

Last year I had this problem majorly. Comcast would just cut out completely around 8pm. They sent tech support guys out here maybe 10 times. One time included a complete rewiring of my cable.

Then another guy came and looked at the box in the neighborhood and found that a squirrel had chewed threw the cable a bit.

Seriously, WTF 😕

This has been happening to me the last few weeks in downtown Chicago w/ comcast.

I notice it since my IM clients sign in an out randomly or I get shitty/laggy performance on xbox live. They were supposed to bump up my plan too, like two months ago they sent a letter claiming better speeds but if anything it has gotten worse.

I hate not having a choice, comcast fucking sucks. We *just* got a new cable provider to have access to my building but I'm moving in a few months so I just said fuck it.
