Problems with CAS latency after flashing BIOS

Hello,

Last nite I flashed the bios of my old BH6 mobo since I need to install my new 60GB HD and the original FL bios doesn't support large HD's, I updated to the SS revision (it's a BH6 v1.0)

The flashing went through with no trouble, but after rebooting I noticed a few things:

- The memory test doesn't works the way it was before, in fact I don't think it's executing at all, because it passes through the ram count too fast.

- I noticed that there are a few newer settings on this bios, particularly with the CAS settings of the memory. With the previous bios version I used to run my PC100 memory with CAS2, but with this new bios if I pick CAS2 the system becomes unstable and eventually crashes, so I'm currently using CAS3. Why can I use CAS2 as before?. Also, what are these new values of CAS to RAS, CAS Precharge and Precharge Control, those values didn't existed on my previous BIOS version.

- Processor L2 Cache Latency: another new value for me, currently using DEFAULT, any suggestions for a P2-450 ?

- KBC Clock: don't have a clue also, using the default 8mhz

Any comments will be welcome.

Thx,
