Ok, so my friend tried booting up his AV8 vanilla with no proc, and gets the messages "83, 87, 9D 9E 9F" I found out the those 9 codes mean forced power off, and was wondering what they meant, if anyone knew.

Also, he was wondering if he'd have to flash the bios for the AV8 if he got a 3500+ venice. He has no processor, so he's unsure of the current bios version.
