Is there something I am doing wrong...

In win 2k I try to install the drivers and it comes up and tells me I need to install a VGA adapter driver first...

Ok np

Then it won't install the VGA adapted lol. Is there a easy fix for this.

I just seem to missing something.

If anyone has any guides or advice for installing ATI8500 drivers under win2k. It would greatly be appreciated

thanks in advance

strictly speaking, before removing your old video card ya should change the adapter to "Standard VGA" then remove, put in new card, boot, install new drivers, reboot and it should be ok.
