Problems with Asus A7V Mobo and CPU PLZ HELP.

Im currently trying to install a duron cpu on an a7v motherboard and it wont boot or send the video signal. The CPU is running so i know its not the processor, i think it may be something with the jumper settings. I have the jumpers set to 700 mhz duron and it doesnt work, i also tried JumperFree.. Anyone have any suggestions? Please respond..

OK, no video signal? What video card you got?
Have you tried other video card?
If ur SYSTEM POSTs probably its something related to video card.
Try other video card.

The A7V will beep once or more times at post signaling status as indicated in the manual if you don't hear any beeps after 30 seconds or so then you may very well have a dead motherboard.

I had the same thing. The lights went on, all components running fine but no post until I plugged in another A7V board, and I returned the dud to were I bought it.
