Problems with Anandtech DNS?

I can't get to the forums or the main site with "www.anan......com", I have to use the IP address (168.143.107.178). I've tried a couple of alternat DNS seervers with no luck. I see no mention of this problem on the forums. Is it just me?

I am able to pull the AnandTech home page & the forums home page up with no problem.

I had same problem, couldn't get to it.

It must be something to do with my ISP's DNS server. I hunted around and found some Earthlink DNS server IP addresses and they work fine.

Funny thing is that it's ONLY Anandtech's site that isn't working. Any other site I've used today (tons of them, I was bored because there was no AT forums to read!) has worked perfect.

yeah i had the same problem here too...using covad...just thought they were doing some server maintenence or something for the new year

I haven't been able to get to AT for like 2 days or something, and it's not a DNS problem in my case.
I tried using several nameservers, and the name resolved fine, I just couldn't connect to the server, tried the old telnet 80, no response, tried from 3 different providers.

I wasn't able to access the either the forums or the main site last night from home but today from work I am able to access both without issue. I did check the DNS records were updated with register.com on the 31st I believe so there might have been a DNS change that hasn't been fully propagated yet.

I had this problem the majority of the day yesterday and some of the day before. I'm on Speakeasy/Worldcom.

Mediacom here

Man it sucks when you can't get to your favorite place on the net.

I ran into the same problem yesterday, I'm on ATTBI. I can access Anandtech fine from work though.
