Hi All
I am having problems with my A7V.
I flashed Bios 1006 a while ago and it worked fine, however I was not aware my RAM are not CAS2 and accidently I setted it to CAS 2 and also changed the FSB to 105.
Ever since my mobo wont do POST. I can hear the hard drives spinning, the CD is being accessed as well, all the fans and power are up, but the mobo wont do the normal one beep. Also the monitor wont turn on and will remain on the blinking orange led state.
I do know the monitor is okay as I've checked it with my Celeron machine as well.
Anyhow, I was about to clear my CMOS but then I noticed my board dont have a Clear CMOS jumpers (ASUS A7V rev1.04), I removed the batt, and left it for an hour or so .. still nada!
I removed the heatsink and fan to check the CPU and it looks alright! I disassembled everything and assembled it back, but still no luck. nada!
I tried switching from Jumperfree mode to Jumper mode and vice versa no luck.
Any ideas? is it possible that by changing the CAS to 2 and FSB to 105 something has been damaged???
I'd appriciate your creative suggestions.
This is my hardware for your reference:
Asus A7v (Revision 1.04) Bios 1006

Thats about it,
Please let me know,
