problems with a7n266-c?

i just bought the asus 415-d drom newegg and there is no way i can install xp pro on it (tried 3 different hard drives).even with WIN ME i'm having a lot o problems .
(i tried to install xp from scratch !!!) anyway i'm using two crucial sticks (Crucial Memory Selector,256mb each) on the first and second bank , enermax EG651-VE psu,ati radeon 8500 graphics,and athlon xp 1900.the fsb is fixed at 133/133/33 and the ddr voltage is 2.7.thanks

Well I have the same board, and similar configuration except I have a Geforce 2 GTS instead of the Radeon. I was able to loadup Win XP without too many problems except one. I can't get any other audio channels except the front right/left audio channels to work, the rear right/left and the center channels will not work no matter what I do. Anyway, can you describe the errors you are getting when you're trying to install XP?, maybe I can help.

the system freezes !!
i tried the digital out (ac3) and it worked ,my denon avr-2802 detected a dolby digital channel,as for the analog out well they worked for me try using windvd or powerdvd . if you need windvd (full ver ) pm me and i'll send you something.
