Problems with 4.1 sound

I recently bought some Klipsch 4.1 (thanks to hotdeals forums) and was very excited to hook them up...unfortunately, my current sound is the onboard C-media chip on my ECS K7S5A. The main problem is that I'm only getting 2 channel sound. I tried increasing this but there is no other option in my speaker setup:

1. Headphones
2. 2 Speakers

I think I have all the wiring right...I followed the instructions by Klipsch. I'm pretty the c-media supports 6 channel output but how do I activate it?

Thanks in advance!,

Eager Klipsch customer

PS: I'm planning on buying a Santa Cruz tommorow

k7s5a sound sucks anyway, i wouldn't do it. i've built 5 computers on that board, and on two of them the sound stopped working soon after the system was up and going.

definitely get that santa cruz.
