Trying to change my email address to a current one, and every time I do, it says I don't have permission for that forum and then logs me out.

Are you using one of the banned e-mail providers?

3. If you receive a message saying your E-Mail address is banned, you can contact the forum moderator to question why. Below is a list of E-mail services that were banned due to abuse, and will not be re-activated upon user request.
AOL
Bigfoot
Excite
Gotoworld
Hotmail
Nightmail
Whitehouse
Yahoo
All domains operated by portofevil.com, aka evilemail.com

My old email address, which is no longer valid, was not one of those, but my new one is a Yahoo email address. All my email accounts are Yahoo, with the exception of my work email, but not going to use that one, so I HAVE to use a Yahoo account or leave that field blank.

Better PM the mods then, maybe they can help.

Or you could get a Gmail account, they are not blocked. PM me your e-mail address if you need an invite.

There is no way you can leave it blank.
Don't you have an email with your ISP?

My ISP probably gave me some email addresses, but I never use them, nor are they even setup. I am paying for the enhanced Yahoo email which I have had for years. Plus it's my first initial followed by my last name, so not like I am hiding anything...kstarnicky@yahoo.com

Contact your ISP for the issued e-mail addy.

Or sign up for Juno for free. Those accounts are acceptable for AT, even though you do not have to use their(Juno's) dial-up service.

I already pay for my Yahoo email address that I have had for years and I will be damed before I activate an email address just because one forum doesn't like Yahoo. While I would like to update my email to a current one, I have no problems leaving it on an invalid one.

I have a backup yahoo e-mail address for the past 6+ years and never paid a dime for it.
I keep a second in my back pocket for spam/junk potential
