Hi... on many occasions when I am using the comp,a blue screen suddenly pops up indicating some page fault error and some (1x000x00x0) stupid #### number...any solutions?

Another thing when i'm playing warcraft 3 occasionally, the game will close itself and indicates that a fatal error has occured..

I am running a WinXP
GF2 GTS
AMD XP 2000
ECS KVTA3
256 ddram

pls help..i'm running the latest graphic card and motherboard drivers

It sounds similar to the problems I've been having lately.

My forum post

I've heard it has something to do with the Via chipset (used on Socket A boards, which are used for Athlon XPs)

Some people have had some success in solving this error if they remove a Creative SoundBlaster Live or Audigy card, there's a decent chance that you will have one, so if you do, then take it out for a while and see if that fixes anything. This didn't help anything for me particularily, but others have had some success.

I'm still looking for a solution, as mine seems to be getting worse.

Good luck

Thanks for the welcome RustyNale.

Bad memory isn't really something I had thought of, but it's a definate possibility for Cloudsky's problem, although not so much for my problem.

I will get a memory tester, just to make sure though.

Thanks for the help
