I set up a home network for the first time. I am using a D-Link DI-604 4 Port Router and a D-Link DUB-E100 wired USB adapter. FWIW, I've got Comcast broadband service and am using a Motorola SB4100 cable modem. I connected everything according to the instructions that came with the router. the USB adapter was used to connect to my Tivo. Everything was working just fine for a few days. Then all of a sudden, it just stopped working. I couldn't access the web, and the Tivo couldn't connect to get program info. When I plug the cable from my modem directly into the computer, I can access the internet again. But I just can't seem to do it through the router. If I connect the cable from the modem to the router, the WAN light flickers like there is activity, but none of the LAN lights will turn on when I connect the router to my computer and USB adapter. Any ideas on what to do? I'm new at networking, so I'm stumped. I do know that the router came with specific one page connection instructions that were different than the ones in the manual. Unfortunately, I seem to have tossed that page and when I check D-Link's website they only have a copy of the manual that I have. Any help would be much appreciated.
