problems running 3dmark2001 with radeon

Hey guys, i really wanna see the graphics, saw some if it in the demo, but it won't finish running
i'm running an atholon 1gig, 256 mb ram, Me, and a Radion 64 vivo.

i keep getting an out of vid_memory error. it suggests i turn down the vid settings, but i tried turning everything to crappy... even in windows.
i tried updating my dx8 but no help...
any ideas??

Trying using the beta 7072 drivers if you aren't using them already.

I have the same problem, and I'm running the current "released" driver. I can get the demo to run, but not the benchmark. Of course can't try the game demo because I don't have the PRO ver.

Ran fine for me. It said (like everyone) that it cant run the nature benchmark, but it runs fine in the demo. I have a 64 DDR and 7089 drivers.

just tried the radeon beta drivers from there site
can run the 3dmark now....

had to skip the nature test, coz no hardware support
and one other...

really liked the demo...

I have the same prob from up top but I have a Voodoo 4 4500

WINME
Athlon Slot A 500 @ 660
196 PC133 SDRAM
8.4 IBM DT HDD
Aopen SLOT A MOBO

I've gone mad crazy updating everything, bios, video, via 4 in 1, DX8, everything!!

Anyone else notice 3Dmark 2000 is slower in WINME than '98?

and yes, I tried bumping her back down to 500 at no avail.

Mines wont finish with the radeon also. See my sys in my sig. ALWAYS locks up. Im using the 7089 drivers, VIA 4.29, DX8. HELP!!!!!!!
