Problems removing file, permission problem.

I recently copied a bunch of user local data files to my desktop and it has a flash animation for the Chronicles of Riddick in it. The file is called AVInfo but when I attempt to delete it, it says that preloader.swf could not be deleted because I had bad permissions. I took ownership of the file but I still could not delete it. And when I right click the file I only have the options to move it or run it.

Any ideas?

You first have to take ownership (which you said you did) then you need to grant yourself NTFS edit rights to the file. You can do this on the "Security" tab of the file properties dialog.
