Here's what happened =[

Last night I was playing Counter-Strike, and it crashed. This has happened before so I didn't worry too much, but as soon as it went back to the desktop my computer turned off automatically... then, when I tried to turn it back on, it just kept beeping.. I kept turning it off and on but no luck... then I stopped trying.

A few minutes later I tried turning it back on and it said "no input display." I had gotten this message before so I (thought I) knew what to do. I opened my case up and started nudging the Chaintech Geforce 3 around. I tried 3 times but still "no input display." Then I tried putting in my brother's Creative Geforce 2 GTS a few times but still the same message. After that I got the idea to clear the CMOS so that's what I did, and it booted up!! But, I still had/have problems. Almost instantly after the "welcome" splash in when Windows XP boots up, it restarts (BSOD = automatic restart?). Then, I replaced my Turbolink 320W PSU with an Enermax 350W whisper but still the same thing.

After this I decided to reinstall XP. However I couldn't even do THIS!
I can boot the Windows XP Professional CD to boot. Here is how my HDD's are setup:

IBM Deskstar 120GXP 40GB 7200RPM
C:\ 31GB Partitoin
E:\ 7GB Partition
Western Digital Special Edition Caviar 7200RPM
D:\ 76GB Partition

OK, so here's what I did:
NOTE: For all the trials below, I basically got the same error message: first, it says it can't copy a file from the CD, press ENTER to retry or ESC to skip. Well, retrying doesn't do anything, and when I try to skip, the next file it tries to copy doesn't work either... After a few skips I get a screen that says something like Windows has found a problem and has shut down to prevent furthur damage. At this point all I can do is restart.
I did a quick NTFS format of E:\ and then tried installing on it.
I did a full NTFS format of E:\ and then tried installing it.
I tried installing, without deleting anything, on the C:\ partition.
I did a quick NTFS format of C:\ and then tried installing it.
I did a full NTFS format of C:\ and then tried installing it.

I did everything in that order, tried multiple times, and I get a variation of the BSOD every time...

I know you guys probably won't be able to completely fix it without actually doing it in person.. but any suggestions?

btw, the reason I am saying this is that I had almost this EXACT same issue with my ECS and Crucial RAM. I ended up getting an Epox.

Alright I converted my C:\ partition to FAT32 and tried a fresh install of WinME and it worked on the first try... so is something wrong with my WinXP CD?

hmm, yea, that would seem like it then. Contact MS and ask them what they think
