Problems Recording Sound with Winfast

Good morning...or afternoon...I have the Leadtek Tv tuner, the Deluxe version. When I record shows, the video records perfectly, however the sound doesn't record, what gives? I tried to search to see if this was covered, but couldn't find anything. The audio out from the card plugs into my Mic jack, and that's on, I checked the sound properties, but I've tried to record like 2 or 3 times, and it never records the sound! Help me please!!!

Are you using the latest version of the Leadtek software?

Go into the configuration screen and make sure that both the audio out and audio recording line are set to Line-in. Make sure the capture audio box is checked.

Make sure you have the audio out cable connected to the line in on your soundcard/onboard audio. Not the MIC jack. That's how I have it connected on my system and it records audio just fine.

OHHH...yah, that should be right!!! Geez, i feel like a j@ck@ss now...I have the audio out connected to my mic jack...I didn't think of the audio in (line in) cuz I have the back speakers connected to that one...will try once i get home, THANKS ALL!!!
