Problems reading DVD

I do not know if this is the addecuate room to discuss this, but its video, at the end.

I have problems reading the DVD "Constantine" on my PC.

Same happened with "Berserk".

However, these two titles are read perfectly on my DVD Player, just not on my PC's DVD+/-RW; I know this is a new kind of protection; is there any way arround it?

Can anyone point me a place to get better facts?

I appreciate your time.

Reboot.

When you put the DVD into the PC hold down the left shift key. Wait till the movie fully spins up. Then you can release the left shift key.

This prevents any booting program to start that might be on the DVD.

So its a program in the DVD that dissables it from even being read?
