I got my Asus CUV4X today.. i popped it in and my computer booted succesfully. I ran 877mhz, 1.7v stable before on my BH6 and thought that my CUV4X should ATLEAST run 877. I tried 850 but no go... then i tried with 1.8 volt but it just freezes after post. I even tried 730mhz with 1.8v but it freezes too after post. I updated VIA 4in1 to 4.23 and the bios to 1005 (latest). But no go. Damn! Does this motherboard suck or am i doing something wrong? PLZ HELP!

I had the same problems with the cuv4x. It's related to the selected vcore. If you set your vcore back to 1.65 or 1.70 (i don't know anymore) you will have no boot problems. But when you pass the magic line it will not boot, or only after a hard reset. I have waited a week for the solution, but no solution came. I swapped it for a cubx and it also has the same kind of problems. I also returned it and bought a second hand abit bm6 which i'm currently modifying.
I personally think these boards have a power problem with the celeron II.

rkoelewijn, or anyone else... is this problem specific to this particular Asus mobo or is it a Via Apollo Pro 133(A) issue? I'm having probablems overclocking and I'm beginning to suspect my mobo and it's an Aopen Via133.
