I am trying to install the 4in1 drivers for my comp and i ran setup, but when i restart it asks for viagart.cat and i cannot find that file. Where is it located?

Yeah, what goes on with this 4 in 1 crap?

In ME i run install for version 4.25. It looks like it installs. After reboot I look at viagart and it's still fkg version 4.0.

With Win ME all you really need is the AGP driver anyhow AFAIK.

I have the same probelm in 98se. The only fix i found was to take the viagart.cat from the previous version of the 4in1 drivers, version 4.24 (i think its in one of the agp folders. It takes the old file from the old version and uses it fine. Seems to work as well.

good luck.

why dont you just search your cpu for the file name and if it shows up...write down the path and enter it in manually?

This is an entirely cosmetic bug in the 4.25a Service Pack. It has no effect whatsoever on system performance or stability. Simply click "Skip File" when prompted for VIAGART.CAT, and you're good to go.
