Has anyone had this problem before? I press enter at the bootloader screen, it loads 2 things, and reboots...i tried using the "check meida" command thing, and it also loaded up 2 things/files, and rebooted. I have no clue what's going on,
I am not sure what could exactly be causing it. Are you running any abnormal hardware? Is your bios to the most current version available?
Some more details might help, system specs and such. I know when I have my Creative Extigy plugged in from a fresh install it makes my system reboot until I roll a kernel that supports it.
It could also be apm or acpi related possibly.
I know when I installed FC 2 i had to add the ide=nodma option when installing or it would hang then reboot. Something to do with my cdrom drive, not sure what though.
I had that problem too. The reason for it is you either have a Asus P4P800-Deluxe, or a Via c3 processor. Do you have either of these? I tried downloading a fix but it never worked for me, so i just went with Mandrake until they fix that.
Actually, JOHNGALT99 (if you were talking to me), my problem is i have a P4P800-Deluxe. I downloaded the fix from the unofficial Fedora faq, but it didnt work for me.
And also, what is this "chubby wallet" deal of which you speak?
