What are you installing it on, and are there any error messages on boot?

Assuming you mean FreeBSD 5.1?

DOes it support the nForce2 chipset?
nVidia isn't too fond of sharing their hardware documentation with OSS developers, so support for Linux/BSD is relatively crappy.

5.1 is their experimental release. If you want something stable, I recommend 4.9. I just installed a copy of it 2 days ago without any hassles whatsoever.
