Problems finding a 'user'.

I am trying to complete a deal with a user named 'ky'. When I search for users, I find him and basic info. What I don't get is his email in that info. He pm'd me in response to a Video card I wanted to buy. We have worked out a deal, but I wanted to see if he has any heat before I send payment first. I'd also like to know his email, so that I could see if it matches the one for his heat account.

When I searched for posts by him, I came up with a ton of results (he only has '43' posts listed in his profile). When I started reading through the search results, I found some with a guy with 'kyle' in his name, I was just searching for 'ky'. So now I'd have to search through a ton of search results looking for a reply from a guy with a whopping 43 posts. All of this, because his profile doesn't show if he links to a heatware account in his signature.

What'd I'd like to know is:
1) Can I refine my search for ONLY the posts by 'ky' and not posts by a user with 'ky' in their name?
2) Is it reasonable to ask for more info to be given in a persons profile? How about adding their email address or their signature?
3) Why is it that for some members, I can click on their icon (avatar?) and get the persons profile, but for others I can't?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The person HAS to have an email address in their profile to trade here.
Link to thread?

I know that a person has to have a 'paid for' email address to trade here. HERE is a link to the thread, but as I said, I posted a WTB thread and he PM'd me. So you won't find his info there. That is why I was searching for posts by him.

I was able to search for his posts by searching for 'ky '

I don't know why you have to append the extra space but it works.
