Problems displaying in HDTV

Card: Leadtek 6600GT connected to 27" samsung HDTV through Component.

My TV does 480p, but if I try to select it in the Video Settings then the picture is like...blown up. The borders of the display go past the screen limits, so the taskbar is barely visible. The icons on the left are past the borders, etc.

How do I fix this? I tried different resolutions, but that didn't help at all.
