I just set up a router box with win2k advanced server running NAT using the RRAS service. The client PC's can't seem to contact my isp's POP3 mail server. Are there some special settings I need to configure? Thanks.
I'm not an expert in Win2k advanced server but isn't RRAS for dial-in services like VPN?? I wouldn't think it has anything to do w/ your clients not able to send email.
Have you tried to ping the mail server from the clients?? Usually when a box can't contact the mail server it's DNS related (like the client doens't know how to resolve the server name). Just my .02.
