Problems Bridging Linksys Wireless Access Equipment

According to Linksys, their Wireless Access Points are bridgable. This has been verified for the WAP11 (no frills just access point).

Well my friend has a Wap11 and Linksys Wireless Access Point + Cable DSL Router + 4 Port Switch that he's trying to bridge together (I wouldn't have thought it would be any problem) but he can't find the option in the AP/Router/Switch config to set it into bridge mode. What's up with this? If its just the same WAP11 with extras tacked on it should be no problem.

Anyone know if this is possible or how to go about it?

If I understood correctly this page:

Wireless Bridges and Repeaters.

You need Three A/P to create a bridge, since in repeater mode the inexpensive A/Ps can not connect to Wireless clients.

It seems it should be:

Switch - A/P in Bridge Mode ........... Air............ A/P in Bridge Mode - Switch - Regular A/P ..... Air ...... Wireless Clients.

But I can link to WAP11 access points together to bridge two wired networks np... But when its one WAP11 and one WAP11 + built in switch and router it doesn't seem to work too well

Well you do only need the two bridges to connect two wired LAN's. Like Jack mentioned, you would need the third AP if you want to broadcast to wireless clients. What do you mean when you say "doesnt seem to work too well"? I dont see anything in the feature set on the PDF data sheet about the wireless router bridging at all. Seems like it would if it did. Theres a few ways you can use the hardware. What are you trying to accomplish exactly? Like sharing broadband with X number of PC (wired or wireless?) at one end and what on the other end? That kinda thing.
