Problems Booting New System

Hey All-

I just setup a new system with the following specifications:

Intel Pentium 4 1.6A Ghz CPU
ASUS P4S533-X Mobo
256MB PC133 SDRAM
Voodoo 3 2000 PCI video card
4GB HDD
CDROM

So, I press the power button and usually nothing happens. I can generally press it over and over and over again and nothing will happen. Although, sometimes it will power up and not engage the monitor and give me continuous long beeps with pauses in between. Once in a while it will also boot up just fine and run Windows and function great.

I have checked all conections many times and everything is tight. I tried a newer AGP video card and the same problems occur. Does anyone have any ideas here?

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Thanks!!

Okay, now I know that you have a sense of humor! Whether or not it's as tainted as mine, though, is another story!
