Problems booting into RH 8.0 - no boot disk

I had to remove grub because it wouldn't let me boot into windows XP, and had to boot from a floppy to get into redhat 8. Well, the floppy was booting into an older kernel version, so i attempted to fix it, and bye-bye boot floppy. I'm new to linux, if it isn't obvious. Is there a way to make a boot cd or floppy in windows xp for RH 8? And if so, where could I find a boot image to use?

TIA for any help

ok - is it possible to edit these to load into the 18-18 version of the kernel instead of the 18-14?

Not really, no. But presumably the 18-18 kernel is still on the hard drive somewhere, so you can create a new boot disk with it once you get back into the system.
