In february, i bought an mp3 player from buyertail.com. It came and the next day after i received it it broke. I called them, talked to them about it and we agreed that if i sent it back I would get my money. So I sent the broken item back with fedex, the same company they shipped the item to me with and what not. a couple days later, i tracked the package and it should that the package was delivered and signed for. But this all took place sometime in March. It's been almost 8 months now and I still haven't gotten my money back. I have called buyeretail and fedex countless times and they came making me mad. Buyeretail claims the package was not delivered, or that the driver kept that package and what not, and Fedex has proof that the package was delivered. Everytime I call them, they tell me the same dang thing and my patience is running out. I don't know what to do, and I'm not going to let some big cooperation rob me like that. It's crap... Any advice?

If FedEx says the package was delivered, ask for proof. If they did deliver the package, was it signed for or did they just leave it on your porch for someone to steal?
If you payed by CC, and you should of... then call the CC company. Get them involved and make sure you have copies/receipts/any and all paperwork handy to make your claim.
i did.. i filed a claim and they have sent proof and everything. it was signed by some B katz person.
Then it's not buyeretail.com's responsibility. They did their part. Now you need to deal with FedEx.
8 months is a long time. why did you let it sit? you should have been actively pursuing this daily for a week or a maximum of two weeks and then received verbal or written confirmation that the money is on its way. it seems that you just waited hoping that the money was going to come but it didn't and now you are planning on addressing the issue again.
oh trust me.. i haven't been sitting. I have been calling, but they always seem to get around to not getting back to me and what not. I have filled claims with fedex, received confirmation for the delivery of the item and what not. now I'm out of ideas and I asked buyeretail to call fedex but they won't.
Well who lives with you named B Katz? I'm guessing no one because you obviously would have gone to B Katz to get your package then. Since nobody lives with you with that name, did FedEx deliver to the correct address?
Buyeretail mailed the package out. That's the end of their responsibility. It's then FedEx's responsibility to get the package to you. They did not. That's why I said concentrate on FedEx.
call and ask to speak to Mr/Mrs. Katz. then work from there.
you need to verify that the correct person received the package. buyretail.com could actually be telling the truth if someone signed for it at a different location.
