problem

Ok Im in the middle of building my new comp and well I got the cpu/ram and plugged in the psu.When I did that I flipped the on switch and the system fans and the nb fan began to whirl.So I power Down and continue building and Now when I flip that power switch on the back of the psu all you hear is a quick power sound and nothing turns on.

What do you think is the problem :(

I unplugged everything except the ram and the processor and still same results

im doing something wrong...I feel like I fryed something but at the same time I dont see how.

Do you have all the power connections attached to your motherboard? (it will likely have more than just the main ATX connector)

You might have moved things around in your case a little and you might be shorting out on the case.

If you take the motherboard out of the case and try booting up on a box and shorting out the power pins it might work.

yes I have the atx connector and the other connector on it

So your saying try to take it out of the case and see if it works?

Yeah, you could also try reseating the CPU and ram while you're at it.
