''I then went to System Settings > Security Level > Other Ports : added 6881:tcp and left the Firewall otherwise unchanged and enabled.''

This is the solution I need for my problem, but I dont know where to find this system settings this person is talking about, nor the ''other ports''

are you running FC4 or other version, or is this a windows box?

if you are having the same problem, as this guy:

http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=20720

and are using windows (or linux w/o a firewall), and are sitting behind a router with a hardware firewall, all you need to do is open up port 6881 on your router to allow traffic to your machine.

good luck

You gave a solution from another post or website but didn't post your problem or any information about your setup. And a senior member at that. F'n amazing.
