Something is seriosly messed up in XP as I cannot imagine how this can happen.
You that there are some running program icons in the bottom right corner, on the taskbar. And it seems that some icons are alwoys not shown. And to show them I have to go to the configuration for that software dissable the icon and then enable it. Or, another senario is that it takes very long for that program icon to actualy appear. The proplomatic icons are the ATI taskbar icon, WeatherBug, Windows Network connections, and even the volume control icon.
I definetly disabled the "hide" aptions for these icons and I selected always show on them anyway. I cannot imagine how this could be happening. I have never seen anything like it in any operating system ever before so how could have Microsoft screwd things up like this is beyond me but I still need to know how to fix it.
