I recently purchased a XFX Geforce 7950 GX2, and I am having some issues. I was running 3dmark, and when it tries to render everything, there are major graphic anomalys, such as red, blue, and green specs moving around the screen, some textures being rendered (im assuming) pitch black. It does this anytime I try to play a game (when it needs to render). Any idea's on what could be wrong, or things I could try to resolve this issue? I have the latest drivers installed....

I just found out that if I run the card in multi-display mode (so its only using one of the cards), it runs fine. But if I run it in Multi-GPU mode, thats when I see all the graphic anomalys...

Hrm... its doing it again now, and I dont know think I have changed anything... so I backed up what I needed and did a clean install of xp pro sp2.

The problem remains. I have the most recent BIOS update, which is what fixed my problem last time. I have the lastest foreware (91.47), lastest version of dx9c, all drivers are installed. Not sure where to go from here.

It is not overheating. I also tried switching to Multi-display mode, and it works fine like that, but if I enabled it to use both GPU's, then I get the anomolies. I see them if I run BF2, and 3dmark06. I'm sure it'll do it whenever rendering is needed, but thats what I have installed right now. When a game is loading, i will see little colored pixels flashing around the screen, and when Im ingame, some of the textures get rendered black, flashing around the screen.

Any idea's on what I could try?

Post in the Video forum. Include a list of all your components (CPU, Motherboard, RAM, PSU, ....).
