Problem with windows/virus.

Yuck.

My sister's laptop has some morbid disease on it or something, and randomly things will happen now. I need to know how to get rid of this.

1) Random popups displaying "There is not enough memory to run KADA1A4.exe"

"There is not enough memory to SDE3173.exe"

2) Overall terribly slow performance

3) Random black screens with 5 or 10 second intervals of nothing.

I hate dealing with windows so much, does anyone have a clue on what this may be?

Do you have a virus scanner installed? If not, get AVG (it's freeware so just google it) and intall it. See if AVG finds anything. If not, then we know it is a windows problem.

Found it, its a worm called WORM_KLEZ.E and it's a nasty mofo. I have tried to remove it to no avail, even with a program. Its all up in the registry and wont respond. Im just going to format the beast, I'm so glad I dont have to deal with this crap
