Problem with Winamp

I'm running version 3.0.

When I play mp3s and surf the net my mp3s start to skip. No I'm not listening to boot legged RIAA crap. This is legit stuff I ripped myself. Help!

or get winamp 5. I've tried it and it works great as far as I can tell, no problems w/ it so far.

How much memory do you have? Soundcard? These maybe factors in your skipping.

winamp sucks. especially 3

I'm running version 3.0.

Say no more. Uninstall it and go back to 2.xx.
