Problem with watercooling sealant

If the pump is actually located within your rig I would seriously consider ditching it and getting one on the new +12 volt DC pumps (DangerDen/Swiftech). I'm not familiar with that pump, but if the housing is condusive to super glue then go for it.

I read somewhere that with that pump, you need to remove the housing with 4 screws and apply silicon sealent around the o ring or gasket making sure you don't get it on anything else.
Is that what you did when you first got the pump?

Here is what one guy does with your pump.

"I am running the Mag3 sitting on a piece of foam just to isolate any vibration noise. It is fairly quiet as far as I am concerned. I cannot here it over my fans, and I have my fans all on 7 volts or less. It is a little larger than the MCP600, and it is 120 volt. But, considering it can be had for less than 50 bucks, it did the trick for me. If you go with this pump, just disassemble the 4 screws on the front, and put a fine bead of silicone on the o-ring. Take care not to get it on the face, just on the o-ring area. Some people have had some minor leak problems in this area. Also, I would use nylon barbs on any pump with a plastic body. Less chance of cracking it than with metal barbs."
