Problem with video

Every time I go to watch most videos the picture comes back distorted, the colors are off. The screen is either all green with some blue or another similar situation. On the other hand some videos do work in Media Player. What is going on? I can't find out the problem. I'm using version 9.

Yes, I?ve tried rebooting. And video games work too, so it can't be the gfx card.

Sounds like a bad codec. Try running the videos in another media player. I recommend either VLC or Windows Media Player Classic (google them).

Reinstall latest WMP10.
