Problem with video card perhaps?

I have a problem with my computer. I have an ATI X1900GT pci-e video card and I have my 19" lcd monitor hooked up on one port, and my 32" LCD TV hooked up on the other. Most of the time, I use my 32" LCD as a second monitor so I can watch movies off of it and still let my fiancee go on the computer to surf the web or something.

Now the problem is, every time I unclick the option to use the 32" as a second monitor, the 19" lcd monitor would go blank, then my computer would restart. It never use to do that anymore. I use to be able to just unclick Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor then it would be fine. Now every time I do that, my computer restarts.

I tried installing the newer Omega ati video driver and the same problem still happens.
 
When you installed the drivers did you completly remove the old drivers? If not unistall teh dirvers and clean them out with drive cleaner while in safe mode.
