Problem with USB2.0 installation

Using the rig in my sig I have trouble installing USB2.0 drivers. Whenever I install them system BSODs until I uninstall them.
I've heard that you need to have SP1 installed in order for them to work, but I don't see this being an issue since I've directly installed SP2 w/o SP1.


I have to mention that my system32 folder is "read only" mode and I try to change this but I can't. I have a feeling that this problem is related with this folder.

What can be the issue here?
