Problem with USB MP3 Player

Hi All,

I got a USB MP3 player, which I mainly used for data storage, I formatted this device with Windows 2000 in NTFS format store data in it and eject the device and after that MP3 player can't detected by the machine any more.

I tried it on other machines with WinXP but no luck. Even the LCD of the MP3 panel doesn't lit any more.

Can some one please suggest what can be done, is the player is dead? 🙁
