Hello everyone!
first time poster here.
i'm having a problem with my network. basicaly it's with my main computer, the problem is that it connects at 10mbps having everything capable of 100mbps. but it just can't connect at that speed.
here's my setup :
internet --> router <--> switch <--- > pc1, pc2
512kbps speedstream 5200 gigafast EZ500-S (10/100)
pc1 : amd k62 433mhz, 96mb ram, rtl8139 NIC win 2k,connects at 100mbps
pc2 : intel p4 2.6gh, 256mb ram, integrated 1gbps NIC, 3com 905tx NIC, win xp
> connects only at 10 mbps with any of the NICs <
i'm suspecting about the switch, what you think could be the cause of the problem?
i'm really frustrated, please help. thanks in advance.
