Greetings wondering about my setup since when I run wow it seems to be around 30 FPS at max settings on 1600x1200. No matter what res I go to it seems to slow down which does not make sense. My system is as follows
MOBO -- DFI LANPARTY NF4 Ultra D
CPU -- Venice 3200 LBBLE 0518DPAW
RAM -- Ram OCZ Winbond model 4x512 OCZ4001024WV3DC-K
VIDEO -- Sapphire X1950XT 256MB
CASE -- Lian LiPC-70USB
PSU -- OCZ POWERSTREAM 600W
HDD -- 1 Seagate PATA 400GB 1 WD 100GB
DVD -- Sony, PX-760A
PERIPHERALS -- Razer BoomSlang 2200 With Razor XactMat
Monitor Iiyama 22" 512Pro
Bios Using 6/23

just reinstalled windows and updated all the drivers and I got a 3dmark06 score of 3910 with settings set to performance in the control panel. I also get a 3dmark05 score of 8105. These all seem low and something in my install of windows / drivers is off.....
I just upgraded my Graphics card from an ATI X800XL. I was hoping on seeing more of a improvement, especially since its a FRESH Windows XP SP2 install. I mainly play World of warcraft, HalfLife 2(not installed again yet) and when I entered that game the computer when AA Filter was turned ons lowed down. I would have assumed I would have seen more of a performance increase. Any suggestions or angles that I Can take to speed this up?

Check your video card temperature and drivers are up to date.

Make sure DirectX 9 is the latest version. (Recent release was in December 2006)

Sounds like a bottleneck somewhere is in your system, don't know what is what though. Could actually be software related rather than hardware, but who knows!

Last thing to do is to make sure your BIOS isn't limiting anything or set on a defaut level which disables a feature, such as fast write, etc.

I am using Direct X 9.0C but I am going to reinstall them and see what happens.

On my motherboard the ram is @ 2T. Due to how after 1 GB the Ultra-D sets it up this way. This isa fresh install of windows so technicly speaking I should not being having these problems.

Recent version is actually DirectX 9.0c Feb 07

My system is comparable to yours except I uses GeForce 6800 Ultra. If I recalled correctly my 3D mark score is comparable to yours. What was your old score?

I also have a Venice 3200+. Not OCing a Venice is a total waste btw. You have a DFI board which also adds to that. To an X1850XT, I have strong reason to think that your CPU is the bottle neck at the moment. Try a 30-40% overclock, which is a piece of cake with DFI board.

For my system, my CPU is definitely the bottleneck. Since GeForce 8600 Ultra is almost equivalent to Radeon X1850XT, I advise you to try to overclock the CPU and see if there's any major improvement. I am happy to advise you if you are not sure about the overclocking
