2) You need an exchange server.

it's connected to an exchange server
heh, sorry, it's a common question asked by home users on a network.

Are you an admin? It sounds like you aren't the owner of the calendar folder. Try creating a new calendar folder, copying all your appointments, and sharing.

hi, thanks for the response,

when i try creating a new calendar folder under that, it's doing the same thing. The sharing option is greyed out. I'm not the admin.

Sounds like something is disabled. I've never prevented users from sharing though, so I'm afraid I'm not much help. Try asking your Exchange admin.

It's not an OS, issue, dude. Exchange is not an operating system. This belongs in Software. I clicked my link and it works. I just forgot to take the flcache arguement out of the hyperlink. 🙂

where is the software forum?

I'm guessing you don't have enough permissions.

Plus, if your exchange setup is as retarded as ours, you need to get your exchange admin to change permissions on mailboxes and such AS well as doing the sharing thing.

my exchange server is in NYC.

Her old computer has the sharing tab and permission. BUt when we migrate all her data to the new machine, the sharing tab is not there anymore. I try exporting her old email using the pst file to the new one but it's still doing the same thing.

@Nik, i can't see the software forum

Make sure the software forum is not disabled.

Bah, I can't seem to link directly to page 2 of the profile. Go into profile, click "Personal Options."

Nevermind, I got the link correctly.

Thanks,

here's the correct link
