Problem with SBLive, EAX and Win2k.

When I turn on EAX with my live (platinum) sounds are way too high, speech and music are way too low, and the volume control for EAX in my games will not work, everything is the latest there is and my friends computer does this too. Neither of ours did it in SE or ME. Any ideas? Anyone else have the problem?

Creative needs some competition and it is Urgent. Seriously, I am VERY deceived of creative and their crappy EAX.

Can't they make something that works just perfect ? Damn.. 3d sound in UT is always scaring me how its ugly...

Well EAX has always worked fine under 9x or ME with the same hardware, but I am sick of dual booting. Only get this problem under 2k with any game that supports EAX, if I turn it on.
