Problem with SB Live! Value

I got this stupid sound card pretty recently. Used to have a MX300 (that card was so much better than the Live). Anyway, the problem is, when I am playing MP3's and surfing the web (or anything else) at the same time, winamp sounds like its on crack. Its like the sound gets out of sync or something. I have to stop the song and start it again to get it to sound right but when I start surfing again, same thing. Never happened with the MX300, I just installed XP and didn't want to fool with the registers and stuff to get it working right (re-thinking that decision). Anyway thanks for the help. install win2k and the newest drivers from creative, xp sucks and it does NOT like sound blaster Live!s (I speak only from experience on this one)

XP doesn't seem to like a lot of hardware. Don't use XP yet. I would give it a year or so.

Did you try the pci latency patch from Here and the Latest 4n1's from Here
