Problem with running newer games.

I am running a brand new install of winxp home after a format to my harddrives. I have a p3 866, 256mb ram, geforce 2mx 200. My problem is with recent games. Older games such as Rogue spear, or tribes 2 run fine. My problem is with new games such as Operation flashpoint, medal of honor, and Ghost recon. When I try to run either of these games I get an error like this.
AppName: mohaa.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: ~de8614.tmp
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00016095

If I get the cracked .exe and use that instead of putting the cd in, the games will run fine. I really would like to not use the cracked .exe though, since that's technically not lega. Any help would be appreciated.

During the XP beta there was a problem with the SafeDisc drivers from MacroVision which would cause the problems you mentioned. I thought the newest drivers were included with the XP release, but you might want to go check Macrovision and see if they have posted anything newer.

I checked macrovision, but didn't see much about any drivers anywhere =(. Can someone maybe point me towards some?

*sigh* it appears that the errors were not fixed =(. I guess all I can do it report the problem and hope a new fix is released.
