Problem with router

I have comcast cable hooked into a netgear rp114 router. Everr half an hour or so my internet gradually fades. Its odd because some stuff that isnt cached on my computer can still be accessed on the web but other stuff just wont load. It seems like the internet is gradually just letting go. Then the only way to get the internet back is to go into my router config wizard and just hit next on everything. Then BAM instant internet. What could be my problem?
