Problem with Remote Drive

At my work I have two Windows XP Machines that connect to another Win XP machine. For the purposes of this I will say A & B connect to C.

On Computer C is a shared network drive that requires a login. All users use the same login to C. At random times A & B will not be allowed in. It is a new development for B but A has been having the problem for a year.

A was able to access drive earlier, then in the middle of my work it quit.

Any ideas?!?!?!?!?!?

Professional. A and C is on the same router whereas, B is connected through a campus network. B is on an old cable and A and C is on 5e.

How many people are connecting to Computer C? If it's more than ten, you'll have a problem since XP Pro limits simulaneous connections to ten.

At the absolute most, 4 but usually 3.
